It's spinach season, so it's a good time to prepare a variety of versions of this healthy green. Always a winner with pasta! If you'd rather eat something without meat which is still hearty, this is a perfect choice. Make it with reduced-carb pasta if you want it extra healthy!
Ingredients for 4 portions:
For 4 people:
450 g frozen creamy spinach puree
3 large tablespoons of Turkish Style Labneh
500 g spaghetti
2 to 3 cloves of garlic
salt, pepper, nutmeg
Parmesan or grated cheese
1. Place the spaghetti in a pot of boiling water and cook with a little salt for about 10 minutes over a low heat.
2. Put the melted spinach in a pan, add the grated garlic, season with nutmeg and pepper.
3. Add the Turkish Style Labneh and bring it to boil, stirring a few times, adding salt if necessary.
4. Mix the sauce with the drained pasta. When serving, sprinkle the top with parmesan or grated cheese.
